GREAT THINGS START SMALL
Coaching Day 2025
Coaching belongs in education
⸻
Step into a day dedicated to empowering educators with the skills to create meaningful change—one small interaction at a time.
Coaching Day is Graydin’s annual, community-centred event, showcasing the transformative impact of coaching on schools. This year’s theme, Great Things Start Small, invites you to discover how a single, timely question, a quick five-minute check-in, or a moment of genuine presence can create powerful shifts.
Through immersive workshops, hands-on activities, and real-life examples, you’ll gain simple, effective coaching tools to use in even your busiest moments. Walk away with actionable strategies to strengthen connections, ignite student engagement, and empower both students and colleagues.
This year, we are delighted to be hosting the day at City of London School.

The Millimetre shift
We often think coaching demands more time than we have. And although we can’t wave our magic wand and give you more time we can make better use of the time you have.
During the day we’ll explore:
How can I weave coaching into my daily moments with colleagues and students?
What millimetre shifts in my interactions can create meaningful change in the hallway, staff room, or classroom?
Who else is embedding coaching into their school, and how can we learn from and support each other?
What is one thing I will commit to doing differently each day that could lead to something remarkable, and who will help hold me accountable?
Whether you’re a seasoned Certified Start With Heart Facilitator or exploring coaching for the first time, Coaching Day offers dynamic activities, practical tools and opportunities to connect with passionate educators. Leave re-energised and equipped to bring fresh coaching techniques back to your school, fostering an environment where each interaction can make a difference.
