Sally Bradley

Teacher (Classics), Teaching and Learning Lead Practitioner, King Henry VIII School

Coventry, United Kingdom

I am a teacher of Classics and English at King Henry VIII School, Coventry, who is passionate about developing relationships and dynamic environments to build confidence, motivation and resilience for personal growth. In 2022, my best year, I was the proud recipient of the school's inaugural 'Teaching Staff' award and Graydin's 'Rising Star of the Year' award. I also became a temporary poster girl on social media for the Mercedes Petronas-AMG Formula 1 Team with Lewis Hamilton (quite an achievement for a camera shy introvert!). Life then took a turn with a personal loss. But, thanks to lots of 'wintering' (Katherine May), self-coaching, feline therapy, and the compassion of the Graydin community, I am now back, excitedly planning coaching workshops to support student and staff leadership and wellbeing. I do not know where I would be without coaching and believe every person should be gifted its power. Put simply, coaching is a medicine: a personalised hug in a mug that warms, nourishes, and strengthens.
