Three Things I Only Learned About Coaching, By Coaching
Recently, I spent four weeks learning the foundational skills of coaching on The Anatomy Live Online. I learned all the concepts that I had been reading about in Graydin’s handbooks, but I also learnt other stuff that I never really knew about coaching.
What is Coaching?
During The Anatomy: Foundational Coaching Course Live Online, we ask participants to consider how they define coaching at the end of every session. Over the four weeks, they define and redefine their coaching definition as their skills grow.
Coach the Body
Coach the person, not the problem. It’s a simple coaching philosophy that leads to powerful results. It sees the body and mind as one, rather than seeing them as separate entities. But the body holds its own wisdom, and coaching the body can provide a sense of clarity that the mind can’t find.
