Lisa Greatwood is the Head of Wellbeing, Assistant Chaplain and Housemistress at Rugby School. She was at first very sceptical about the efficacy of coaching until she was coached herself. She is now a fervent advocate for coaching as she has seen impact and change it can bring about. As a Biology teacher is fascinated in the way that coaching ‘hacks’ the brain and she is working on a collaboration project to bring Neuroscience and coaching together at Rugby School. As Head of Wellbeing, she is working with Senior managers to roll out coaching by training new members of staff, parents and pupils. A new exciting initiative that is being undertaken this year is the training of students to become peer coaches.
